To date, only 1 author 3 has examined the experiences of women in head athletic trainer positions at the Division I level. 1 Scant research is available to address why so few women are in head athletic trainer positions. Women held the fewest head and assistant athletic training positions at the Division I level, 2 only 17.5% of the head athletic trainer positions in 2012. ![]() 1 However, the number of women advancing in the field, specifically to head athletic trainer positions within Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, has not increased significantly. Women represented 46.4% of graduate assistant athletic trainers and 47% of assistant or associate athletic trainers in 2010. Since the passage of Title IX legislation, more women have assumed positions within athletic training at the intercollegiate level. ![]()

After sliding down the mountain, jump on to the ice block formation as it approaches.The Star Coin will eventually appear on two blocks connected to the right wall. Once the Giant Spiked Ball appears, stay at the right side of the screen.The second one appears halfway through the tower, around the center of the screen.Following the trail of coins should let you time your jump over the first spike ball to the Star Coin perfectly. This coin appears not long after the level starts, at the right half of the screen.Wait for the two mushroom platforms above to shrink, then drop down for it. On the penultimate mushroom before the flagpole.Climb it to the bonus area, then use the Spin Block there to launch yourself to the Star Coin. Hit the first block you see after the first Star Coin to extend a vine. ![]() Wait for the mushroom underneath to expand to grab it, then hit the red switch to get back upward. Jump on the spring to be launched up to the coin. Near the checkpoint, there is a spring below an easily visible Star Coin.Use the spring to jump into the warp pipe, then move to the right of the bonus area and jump up to get the Star Coin. Carry the spring below the third Star Coin left to a yellow pipe. ![]()
![]() The Mega Mushroom was going to look like a large Super Mushroom rather than a chubby-looking mushroom that was yellow with red spots. mode revealed some levels that were not available on the final release, including a desert stage, an underwater stage and a few others. Mega Mushrooms were also originally intended to be red. This feature is removed possibly because the designers wanted a power-up that can be obtained from a ? Block, however it survives in Vs. Then when the player Ground Pounds on the shell, the player gets in the shell and becomes Shell Mario. In another image, it’s possible to obtain the Blue Shell by first defeating a Blue Koopa Troopa. Spindrift was also supposed to be in the game, but got replaced by the blue spinning platforms in World 1-3 and other levels. There also was an underwater stage which also featured Manta Ray in VS. ![]() There were originally three item reserve spots rather than one. On early Magic Kingdom guide maps, it's called the Nantucket Harbour House, but by the time it opened, it's location had switched to "Columbia Harbour". What makes the Harbour House so special?īased on atmospheric sketches by Dorothea Redmond, The Harbour House didn't open until Summer 1972, alongside most of the rest of the facilities in Liberty Square - Olde World Antiques, the Perfume shop, the Heritage House, etc. It's the dark retreat from the Florida sun where sea shanties echo through mahogany chambers. Indeed, among a certain subset of the historically oriented, the Harbour House is almost one of the secret handshakes. As has been shown on this site before, I have a special interest in the Adventureland Veranda, but really it's hard to top the Columbia Harbour House. But, starting with the plans for New Orleans Square and New Tomorrowland, Disneyland food courts would become increasingly elaborate, a progression which climaxed with Magic Kingdom's 1971 slate of indoor food courts. Much of what Disneyland opened with in 1955 could today best be described as a "snack stand", with the noteworthy exception of the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship in Fantasyland. You can either present them with something that's totally perfunctory like the Captain America Diner at Islands of Adventure, or you can drop them off in something like Disneyland's Plaza Inn.ĭisneyland seems to have created the idea of the fully themed food court. And if you have an audience that's going to need to stop and stare for a while at something you built, then you have a choice. Most theme park guests probably spend longer staring at the walls of a food court than they do riding that multi-million dollar roller coaster or zipping through that highly profitable gift shop. ![]() |
